HER Museum gathers 205 works: paintings, sculpture and prints by women artists from the open collections of the world's museums, and the most loved paintings of women. It is a museum made on Momentable, with HER Venture HUB, to watch on a phone, a tablet or a TV.
The collections follow women through the history of art: the painters who worked before 1900, often against the rules of their academies; the modern painters; the sculptors; the women who made prints and drawings; and the paintings of women that the world knows best.
Every work is public domain or openly licensed by the museum that holds it, and each artist has her own page on Momentable with all of her work in the archive.
HER Museum is the first initiative of Cultural HER, the arts programme of HER Venture HUB, a social enterprise for women in entrepreneurship, leadership and the workforce. HER Venture HUB leads the concept and the curation brief; Momentable brings the museum: the collection, the player and the screens.
It opens at World Art Dubai, Dubai World Trade Centre, 19 to 22 November 2026. Women artists are invited to enrol, and anyone can recommend an artist or a work for the museum.
Every work carries a rating: G for all audiences, or E where it shows nudity or violence (35 of 205). The Gulf Edition plays only works rated G, so the museum can play on any stage.
